The beaches of Cap d’Agde

It takes you about ten minutes to drive to Cap d’Agde from the campsite. The seaside resort, best known for being a popular holiday destination for families in summer, has 14 km of beaches and is appreciated for its mild Mediterranean climate. The resort has nine beaches in all.

The three fine sandy beaches to the west of the port, in the direction of Grau-du-Roi, also delight many families. These are the Richelieu beach – the largest of them and also the most frequented -, the Rochelongue beach and the Baie de l’Amitié beach. There are many facilities and services, including parking, restaurants, lifeguard posts, changing rooms and showers. It is also possible to walk from one square to the other along a pedestrian path, which is ideal for leisurely strolls.
